These photos were taken during a weekend camping and climbing trip in an old growth grove of Douglas Fir in Washington State. We rigged and climbed three 240+ foot trees and explored the lush understory of the forest. It was an eye opening experience for me to climb in a completely different type of cloud-affected ecosystem. These are the tallest trees I have ever ascended.
